Russian defense spending will increase by 60 percent, to more than 2 trillion rubles ($66.3 [billion]) by 2013 from 1.264 trillion ($42 [billion]) in 2010. Konstantin Makiyenko from the Russian Center for Analysis of Strategies and Technologies (CAST) told the paper that the government is likely to spend more on the Navy, as well as the aviation and space industries. The deal, which is the first of its kind between France and its Cold War enemy, has caused alarm in Nato, as there are fears it will give Russia more cutting-edge technology.
In February a US official told reporters the US "had questions" for France about the order. Russia planning to spend 80 billion rubles ($2.65 billion) on 60 Su-family fighter jets starting 2010, and buy 26 MiG-29K Fulcrum-D carrier-based fighter jets, with the expected contract estimated at about 25 billion rubles (more than $828 million), a military aircraft plant manager told the paper. The plans also include the purchase of 32 Su-34 Flanker fighter bombers under the 2008 contract (a single plane then cost more than 1.1 billion rubles ($36.4 million), he said.

NATO strike revenge for Pakistan crackdown on CIA assets
A NATO air strike on an army checkpoint in northwest Pakistan has killed up to 25 soldiers, according to the country's military officials. Islamabad has now blocked the alliance's vital supply lines into Afghanistan in response. The incident threatens to put more pressure on relations between Pakistan and the military alliance, already strained by continued U.S. drone attacks. Ahmed Quraishi, President of Pakistan's biggest lobbying group - the PakNationalists forum, thinks this accident was a deliberate act of punishment.

China Builds A Replica Of The Taiwan International Airport For Bombing Practice
It's only a matter of time before the US and China clash. Obama the war monger sending 2,500 troops to be stationed in Australia and now the Chinese have built a mock airport to practice bombing of the Taiwan International Airport. Imagine what it must feel like living in Taiwan knowing China has a plan to destroy your airport. What would the US do if China had a mock up of O'Hare International Airport used for target practice? Just another step closer to world war 3. Below are aerial photos of the China mock airport and the real airport in Taiwan.

Syria is the next Libya
All the clues were there months ago that Syria would be the next target for the powers that be. It is the next step in surrounding Iran for the final conflict. I'm sure the CIA and Mossad are in Syria instigating unrest and provoking civil war. This would pave a way for NATO to go into Syria just like they did in Libya. Russia, a close ally of Syria, is waring that civil war would lead to a Western military intervention under UN mandate. Turkey is also adding to Russia's warning about civil war. Here we go again. All part of the plan.
